    Just looking for something sturdy. Trying to spend as little as possible for a starter setup. Currently cameraland has the sirui T004s with the fluid head for $140 - so that's my fall back plan.

    Replied. Barrels are both cylinder bore, choke/threads were removed when it was shortened. Appears there is still plenty of barrel wall left if a new owner wanted to re-thread it for the choke pattern of their choice. 3" chambers.

    Thanks for the reply folks - I'm still looking into this, but leaning toward a S.O. - mainly because of the reputation and the ability to sell it down the road if it does not meet my needs.
