    Costco Down vest

    Just picked up the brown vest. I will put it to the test tomorrow in the IPW at 12k. Should be a decent insulator layer. If you are considering the camo version it did have a subtle glare to it. The brown and grey are flat in color.

    Footwear

    Salomon X Ultra mids for lighter pack training, and trail running with no pack. I throw my Garmont Antelao boots on when training with heavier pack weight (35lbs+). These are the same boots I will hunt with when in the backcountry.
