I've been really happy with my Tikka T3X Superlite in .308. Available ammo, factory southpaw, light albeit cheap stock. Out of the box when topped with an older Leupold I've been able to do sub 1" groups at 200 yards.
Hoping to get it threaded sometime soon but our local shops have delays all...
Heck of a shed, and heck of a bull. I've been building points in my home state for years but who knows when I'll be able to draw. At least the chase for late season is shorter since it just peeled off for a separate pool a few years ago?
Whole lot of it depends. Agreed with what Ross said, find the stacked topo lines and climb. The further you're getting from established trails the better. Things like blow down, old fires, and rock fields often filter people out. If it's along the way to your very all the better. Unfortunately...

Hopefully get my first Colorado elk, I've got OTC bull and a cow tag in my pocket. I had call exchanges last year, but no dice. I've also got two new hunters with me this year, one of which has been in camp with me a few years and has a had a chance to learn, the other is brand new. It'll be...

Hey everyone, I'm an FNG to Rokslide. I joined up after hearing about the place for years as a great resource for western hunting. I moved to Colorado in 2018 and got my butt kicked by 2nd rifle OTC elk last year in a Wilderness Area that got dumped on with snow. I chase everything from birds to...
