I feel like there is a bit of confusion going on here. If you draw a limited entry aka special archery only TAG, I believe that gets mailed to you if you are successful. However, there is a bow and arrow license that they charge you for if you want to hunt archery. I thought it was necessary...

Dang it, Colorado!

ON X, GoHunt, Blah blah and blah. All these things are making people more knowledgeable about hunting big game, and good spots are getting more and more crowded. "Road hunting" is like a bad word on some internet forums. That used to be a strategy awhile back. Times are changing. IMO

It's not just fish and game agencies using this tool, the Wilks brothers use these on their ranches to bait people into trespassing. I've seen them place the bait along a well traveled road... Lots of dumb people out there. Lots of dumb people posting on this thread.
