I have been anxiously waiting to try Humble foods or Off Grid meals, never heard back from Humble about their testing phase and have not seen any news about release dates. I see Off Grid has a pre-sale now for their dinners, but $56 for 4 meals seems a little steep to me? Has anyone tried these...
I was outside the wilderness, are you familiar with the barley creek trailhead? There are a few burns south of there, that's where I killed my bull and saw the most deer.
The bucks I spotted were running does, so might not help too much. I hunted outside the wilderness in 162, saw the bucks in old burns. Good luck on your hunt, seems like a great unit.
Did anyone have success in the Monitors during the early season or cow season? I am pretty set on going without horses so any intel would be greatly appreciated. I will be headed up next week for a quick scouting trip, can share info if interested.
Thanks for the pics, I remember seeing your pics of the 28" and forgot to ask what your height and torso length was..glad you responded. I contacted Kifaru to see what they say. Im really leaning towards the 28".
Hello all, I have always found that I don't get enough lift out of my past packs/frames. I'm curious at what point a guy should special order the 28" frame from Kifaru? I am 6'5" with a 22.5 inch torso, I am ready to order my frame and pack but want to make sure I will get enough lift as I wont...
Is there a difference in torso length between the 3XL and 2XL? Im 6'5 and 240, pretty set on ordering all 2XL and either 38 or 40 attacks, have a 37" waist.
Stohs, make sure an update how the fit is once the items arrive. Hope it all fits and no returns needed.
Im not the best at judging bulls, but we saw 2 6x6 around 330 and 1 7x7 that was bigger..maybe around 350. Saw a few spikes and a couple smaller framed 4x and 5x's. We went in from the north, made it about 5-6 miles in, the amount of cow hunters there took me by surprise. Still it was a great...
Congrats on the tag! I hunted the Jarbidge for my wifes cow tag a few years back. It was truly an awesome experience being out there with all the bulls bugling. Are you planning on hiring someone to pack your bull out if you are successful? Good luck with your scouting and hunt this fall.
Hello, i was fortunate enough to draw a bull tag this year for Nevada 16/17. Does anyone have any recommendations for outfitters in the Monitor Range? I'm not sure how feasible this hunt is without horses? Thanks.
