    Wad Recommendations

    I use oversized wool wads with lead conicals. .54 size wool wads for 50 cal with bullshop 460’s. Work great.

    Lead bullet preferences

    It’s a solid and will work in Idaho. I didn’t recover my bullet this year and dad spike last year was a pass through. They are 460 grain solid soft lead and shoot very accurate with wool wad and black powder. I’m in Oregon with similar Muzzleloader regs.

    We have killed spikes last 2 years in a row with 460 grain bullshop conicals. Busted the shoulder this year went 30 yards.

    I'm just concerned about low light with a globe versus the thin fiber optic. I wish someone could create a fine cross hair globe that's fiber optic. I have a cross hair globe but haven't used it yet as most say you can't see through it in low light.

    Suggestions for day pack and rifle scabbard for big guy

    Looking for a pack that can carry and free up arms for a 9-15lb rifle with 27"-30" barrels. I would like the pack to be able to haul meet too. I am 6'7" 300 lbs with a 42" waist, with long torso but not super long legs, only have a 34" inseam. Any Suggestions? Thank you!
