    Are you finding that the pants are losing some of the stiffness after a few washes? I felt like my Chinook kneepads got more comfortable over time. IMO Kuiu's pant lineup is really tough to beat. The hybrids look like they could easily find a spot in my gear bag.

    I've heard Lowa is really particular about which dressing you use if you ever have a warranty claim. I've got a pair coming so I should probably pay attention myself. I've used Nikwax and Grangers and like both. You'll have better results if you apply regularly vs waiting until you have problems.
