A 50 lb bag of sand from Ace splits equally into (5) 1 gallon Ziplock baggies like that’s what they were meant for. Then I can load the pack in 10 lb increments as needed.

I took a pic at BHA I have on my PC of the new small on top of the new XXL I can post tomorrow. PM me tomorrow if I forget.
The new small one is really small and the XXL was huge.

I’ve often thought if I were to fly with mine loaded up I would put it in our car seat bag meant for checking car seats. It’s plenty big and pretty tough. It’s handled several flights with our ~30 lb car seat no problems. They are about $10 at babies r us. Just a big orange bag with a handle and...
I picked the pack up at Kifaru and this is how they taught me to wear it but I will raise it some and see how that feels. Right now the belt is 2/3 to 3/4 above my pelvis bones. That’s probably why it looks like it’s flaring out at the bottom also.

I really like the Zamberlan Vioz 996. I have a narrow foot but like a roomy toe box and these fit that description and are very comfortable for me.

I thought I would update this thread... I sent that MR Marshall back as I just could not get it comfortable under load. I had planned to go SG 5900 but then the Kifaru Argali ended up in the rhino den and then their black friday sale hit and that's the way I went. Also, while I have no butt...
I use a small with Zeiss conquest HD 10x42 which are actually slightly longer than the sizing guide recommends for the small marsupial. GoHunt checked for me before I ordered and confirmed that they would fit and they do fit fine.

I wear medium in everything FL. I'm 6' and 175 lb. I bought a M vapor to go over my M FL puffy. It is just big enough but I do wish it was about 2" longer to completely cover the somewhat long puffy. I thought about sending it back for the L but I think that would be too much loose material.
I...
That was a 29-34" belt. I put it on a UPS truck today. Going to try the Stone Glacier Xcurve with the Sky 5900 bag.
Partly because it doesn't fit but also because even though the website says the Guide Lite and Marshall weight 7.1 lb, I weighed it at 8 lb 8 oz. The 5900 should shed at least...
Yes, for the most part.
Is buckle on the belly button the correct placement for long term comfort?
It does feel better but it feels awkward in that position. That said, this is my first pack.
Thanks for all the replies.
I have watched that fitting video several times prior to ending up here. In my original pics, the belt is well above my belt-line. The buckle is about 1-2" below my belly button and my hip bones are centered vertically on the belt. When I put the pack on I lean...
