    Spain/Austria Ibex Hunts

    I have hunted Alpine Ibex in Austria. It was a blast and I would suggest it if you are into Ibex. Spain is next for me. I would like to take on those 4 ibex. I am looking at Fernando Saiz outfit.

    20 years ago - Advice to your younger self

    Go to Africa now and as often as possible. Go sheep hunting while your knees are ok. Stop at age 60, then go Africa and Europe again. Go to Spain Take your wife and kids.... Best memories ever. Spend your money, don't leave it to your kids as they will only fly business class everywhere.

    Mans best friend - shooting vs euthanasia

    Got to the vet and let them help. Been there several times. A bullet is quick, messy and you may mess it up and hurt your dog. The shot is easy and stress free for the dog.

    Burn 2 Wyoming Antelope Points or Save Them?

    Hard question. I debate this every year and decided to use my points and hold out. If unsuccessful in WY, there is always NM and CO. I have taken many pronghorns, still chasing an 82", have had two close. It is hard but fun

    Same for me. I was spending $2,000 per year for points for my sons and I. When a couple of the states changed the rules for picking or lowered non-resident permits, I decided to opt out and hunt in Canada or Mexico. It is a shame but it is what it is.
