Jerky, beef sticks, cheese sticks, nuts and bars are my current staples. I also bought some jalapeño pickled quail eggs at a truck stop in Iowa this summer that were really good.
Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak are the big attractions. The Air Force Academy is also cool to see. My favorite restaurant when we lived in Springs was Odyssey Gastro Pub. If you’re passing through Pueblo at meal time, stop at Grey’s and get a slopper (open face cheeseburger covered in pork...
My favorite is the Olight i5t. It takes one AA battery and is very comfortable to carry. The i3t takes AAA, and is a good light as well. I carried the small Streamlight for years, but much prefer the Olight.
I’ve been very pleased with my Ruffland. I don’t remember if it’s the large or intermediate size though. I also got a Mud River cover to put over it in colder weather. The Gunner’s look awesome, but at the time I got my Ruffland for under $200.

Barr’s graphic caddis is a great one this time of year. I would also have PMD’s, Green Drakes and some size 20-24 BWO’s. Midges are always a possibility too. If you’re flying through Denver, I would suggest stopping by Blue Quill Angler or Charlie’s Fly Box on your way out of town. Both are...
I have a Winter Works 10’x13’ Sunforger canvas tent that I would like to sell. This has the poles and stakes as well. The tent has been used one night only. It has never been used with the stove. I would sell the tent for $950 by itself or $1150 with the stove.
The Kni-Co stove has never been...
I just bought another one yesterday (8’ Leonard). She knew it was a bucket list rod for me and was mostly fine with it. Although she did remind me this morning that between the fly rod and the new GSP puppy that I’ve spent over a grand this month.
