I assume the quick release on the upper portion attaches to the grab handle just like in the video on the SG site? You ran the tri glide through the grab handle on the top of the Revolution panel?
I have a Goshawk with a Base Talon and a Lid. So far in limited use it is great. Loosen 2 compression straps and it is easy access to the main bag, not quite as much as a panel loader, but loosen up 2 more straps (bottom talon strap and top side strap) and you get the whole side of the bag.
Good eyes Kevin! I just got it as well. I live it, it’s everything I’ll ever need as a primary fly rod... tried and true 9 foot 5 weight.

Just took my Goshawk for a short spin yesterday. With the lid and a base Talon it is very versatile. I messed around with a bunch of different ways to load it up and really like the options for access to gear that I need often. I know other pack companies have packs that can check those...
Can you post photos showing how it mounts? Please?
I have some ideas but I am curious as to how close to it's original intent/design the mounting is on the Goshawk/Revo combo.

Just got the same setup. I plan on running my bladder between the frame and bag. I have a few ideas as to how I will hang it, but I am going to use the meat shelf, a strap, and the pressure from the bag to hold it in place. When packing meat between the frame and bag I will likely have it...
