spent 12 days hunting the selway units. hiked aynwhere from 7-14 miles a day. never heard a single bugle. only got on one herd of elk. absolutely brutal hunt. congrats man!
if you want OTC idaho and montana are your states. but with that comes increased pressure (in a lot of cases) and typically smaller scoring animals (in most cases compared to other states)
