Thanks guys. Some good suggestions here. I'll practice some of these techniques in my back yard...give my neighbors one more reason to think I am bat-sht crazy.

I recently purchased a Duplex frame and AMR pack and am very impressed with how comfortable it is under heavy loads. My question, though, is is there a trick for getting a heavy pack onto your back? At best I look ridiculous trying to get that thing on, but I really think there is a danger of...
