I cut up a brand new Stryker!

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I must have missed your query. Here it is packed up for an elk hunt this year. I think it has 5 days of food in it. I did a 10 day trip, but I never had to carry 10 days at once. It had plenty of room for another 5 days of food.

Who has the most updated satellite images?

If you use Gaia, they have a map overlay called “FreshSat-Cloud Free” that has satellite imagery that’s updated every 14 days or so. Just recently used it on a hunt looking for the thick pine tree patches that white tails typically bed in here. The hardwood leaves have changed colors and dropped...

I cut up a brand new Stryker!

This will be my second season using it. The setup is working well for me. I made a camp bag for it last year, but it was a little too big. I could have used it as a sleeping bag if I needed to. This last weekend I cut it down to a more appropriate size. I haven’t stuffed it with my gear yet, but...

    Dehydrator for drying brass

Fantastic! I’m glad it’s working out well for you. It’s definitely the best method I’ve found to dry my brass.

    Dehydrator for drying brass

Mine is nothing to it. There are cutouts in the dryer the same size and shape of the 4 legs of the rack and it simply rests on those cutouts. I’m sure yours is pretty similar.

    Dehydrator for drying brass

It’s so simple and works perfectly! I usually strain it out of the tumbler, then put it in a towel rolling it around by raising/lowering opposite edges of the towel to get rid of the excess moisture and then I just throw the wet brass in a mesh laundry sack and lay it on the rack and it’ll be...

    Dehydrator for drying brass

Nonsense! Dryers have become pretty efficient and can dry significantly more brass at one time in a significantly faster time than any dehydrator besides maybe a commercial grade unit. Your claims are nonsensical and unfounded. It’s your money, waste it wherever you want. Good luck with it.

    Dehydrator for drying brass

It takes about 20 minutes to dry brass in my dryer, not hour after hour. Look, I assumed you had a dryer and a lot of dryers come with a drying rack. I thought I’d throw out an outside the box option that works perfectly for me that would save you some time and money. No reason to be a jackass...

    Dehydrator for drying brass

Wow?! Maybe Internet forums aren’t for you if you get triggered so easily from people just trying to help you out with their experience and knowledge of alternate methods of accomplishing the same goal and saving you money at the same time. Here’s a bit of other useful advice…google is your...

    Dehydrator for drying brass

Our dryer came with the rack, there was nothing extra to buy. I have no clothes dryer in my shop either, but it’s no big deal to bring a laundry bag full of brass into the house and plop it in the dryer on the rack.

    Dehydrator for drying brass

Our clothes dryer has a rack that can go in it for drying heavy or bulky items like sneakers that you don’t want to bang around in the dryer. They sit on the rack and the drum rotates but the rack stays stationary. That’s how I thoroughly dry my brass. Has a built in timer and everything. Check...

    Lever gun caliber

I have my grandpa’s 1942 Winchester 94 top eject in 30/30. The first time I took it hunting for hogs up in the Mobile River delta, I pushed through the first set of palmettos after getting off the boat and I heard “ca-ching”. Looked down and realized the palmetto snatched the elevator adjuster...
