Yes. It is totally useable, if your neck will stretch far enuff to use it as is, without moving it back to a more comfortable position ala cantilever......grin- huntsman22

The Wraith mini comes with a short rail clamp. I bought the cantilever base clamp because the eye relief was too long without it. this pic does not have the rubber eyepiece attached, but you can see the base differences.- huntsman22

My only Newhouse has cast-tooth jaws. Great score, but I'm no help..... Haven't seen that type of chain before, the ones I had were all kinkless. Might be kinda old, as mine were all postwar.- huntsman22

I have a couple Timneys and a Jard on gen 1's, and like them both. Jard makes a straight trigger and Timney don't. Timney was behind the ball on gen II triggers and that is the reason I went Jard..... my gen 1 Jard.... link. https://jardinc.com/ruger-american-gen-ii- huntsman22
