Starting out backpacking and shooting trad bow as a youngster for fun and then high school sports, and later college sports, dominated my life. After college I rediscovered the joy of archery and started hunting and fly fishing, and am slowly but surely teaching teaching myself through research and a lot of trial and error. Love the hard work, the process of learning, and the likelihood that there will always be something to learn no matter how long I'm engaged. I also brew beer, distill whiskey (for personal use only, in case the ATF is perusing this profile). I raise a garden and occasionally make really shoddy and unstable bird houses and book shelves. Married with one toddler (so far), a D+ at best bird dog, and cat who is nothing short of the biggest a**hole in Ohio.
