I bought that $50 jacket. Wore it in 45 degree weather by itself and it worked great. Haven’t been able to test it any lower though.

Gear for southwest Idaho?

I’m fairly new to Idaho and hunting in general. Will be trying my luck at mule deer with my rifle. Any recommendations on gear and or layering? So far I have: Badlands 2200 pack North Face furnace 20 degree bag (will probably add a liner) North face storm break 2 tent REI air rail 1.5 sleeping...

New to Idaho

I’m new to southwest Idaho, and fairly new to hunting. Looking for input on what clothing to bring for a mule deer hunt. Coming from a hotter state I currently have the Sitka ascent pants and ascent l/s shirt. Thank you.

Debt and the Hunter

Paid off a lot of debt besides 2 vehicles and trying to buy a home. Got a 4 year old, wife in school and my 2nd son is going to be here any day now. So buying the expensive gear is hard.
