Cant speak for the entire state, but southern utah has been on a pretty steep decline as far as overall deer numbers since 2017-18. This drought is hammering the deer herd down here.
I'm more impressed with each one. I dont know if most people realize how special a mule is that can run a reining pattern, and make it look as easy as a horse. But it impressed the heck outta me!
When I was required to use a 1x scope I ended up with a sightron 1x20. It was one of the only 1x scopes I could find that didn't make things look farther away than they were. It was also lightweight, and seemed to have decent eye relief. I don't know if sightron even makes a 1x scope now, but...
