WTB a 24" Bare frame or if belts and straps are in included large belt and medium straps. Would prefer a duplex but would consider a tactical for the right price.
WDFW has the proposed regs on the website under the rule making tab and the proposed regs include allowing 1x or red dots. That is not saying to has been approved yet but they seem to be in support of it. We should all find out in the next couple of weeks
I second using true flat felled seams. You may have to sew every seam twice but they are worth it especially for something that will see some pulling stress like having meat loaded into it. Test it first but most fabrics you can hit with a low temp iron to create the hem and on flat felled seams...
Just cut 1.1 silnylon this weekend for a tent and i used weights to hold fabric and then tailors caulk to mark it (dark green fabric and could not see a sharpie line at all) with a could 8' levels as my straight edge. Roller cutters work best but be careful of what's under you fabric they will...
Sounds like you could make great use of one! If you do go to buy one check local stores they are usually cheaper than buying direct and you get all of the perks of buying direct (warranty, support, etc.) I paid $300 less locally than buying direct and I didn't have to wait 10 weeks.
From my research Harvest Right is the only company making "home use" freeze dryers right now so that's what I have.
I have done lots of fruits and veggies as snacks/cooking ingredients including morels and huckleberries and absolutely love it. As for meals I'm still learning but so far steak...
Have had our freeze dryer for about a year and am trying to find some good recipes for camping meals anybody else have a freeze dryer and favorite recipe??
