    Another vote for the Wingworks. I’ve had mine about 6-7 years and it will probably be the last vest I will need to buy. Hauls a load and is comfortable to wear all day.

    12 Gauge vs 20 Gauge for bird hunting

    I’ve switched to Beretta ultra light 391 in 20 ga. It’s a lot easier to carry on those long walks. I hunt huns, chukars, sharptails and pheasants with it and don’t feel limited except late season when i switch to heavier loads.

    For grouse or partridge, it’s hard to beat a load of straight 7’s. Can’t buy them that I’m aware of, so you will have to reload them.

    Make sure the action is sitting in the recoil lug correctly. I’ve had problems with several Tikka’s until I figured out the action wasn’t seated properly in the stock because the recoil lug wasn’t in the slot in the action correctly.
