That’s how we do it, too.
I enjoy challenging the dog and myself to do bigger and better things. But I also enjoy being home on Sunday to go to church and spend time with family.
I really don’t fault the guys out there running them, though. Takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice to get it...
Nothing wrong with that either.
Seems like lots of people have gotten hyper focused on ribbons and tests lately, not that there’s anything wrong with that. In fact, have at it! But plenty of good dogs out there that only work seasonally.

It's ok. That guy thinks everything posted on the internet has to be true.
I had a 19 year old looking nurse too. I was nervous and it was cold in there.. Not my finest showing moment if you know what I'm saying. But I'm a happily married man so I wasn't all that concerned about...
What he said. "Started" is a variable term.
GO work the dogs and spend time with them. The benefits of getting an older/started dog is that you get to see the personality and behavior of the dog and determine if its a good fit.
Go shoulder (shoot, if you can) all 3 of them and buy the one you like. All 3 are nice guns. All 3 will have some good and bad reviews. All 3 will have some lemons.
