I've seen 3 of the big buddy's catch fire due to a leak in the gas line. Two of my own and one friend's. All 3 were internal leaks, not the external hose. I have also owned 3 of the standard buddy's for over 10 years and have had no issues. The last one that caught fire was flickering like it...

I've been mulling over buying a Camp Chef oven and checked Cabelas first_$324. Went on line and bought the deluxe version for $199. It seems like anytime I check them out their prices are considerably higher than everyone else.
I can t speak for the Sitka, but the charmberlan is very warm. For glossing I love it, no matter how cold. The shell is pretty weak though. Any brush or snag will tear it up.
I have Swaros but only because I needed to burn $500 worth of Cabelas pts. That and 12% Active Junky was a great deal. I also own the Meostar and SLC 10x42's. I think Meopta is right there with the SLC for nearly half the price.
