    I've seen 3 of the big buddy's catch fire due to a leak in the gas line. Two of my own and one friend's. All 3 were internal leaks, not the external hose. I have also owned 3 of the standard buddy's for over 10 years and have had no issues. The last one that caught fire was flickering like it...

    Just purchased the 824CF from Cameraland. Weight doesn't seem noticeably heavier than my 634CF but is much sturdier. Great price too.

    $4.79/gal. in California.. Went to Raleys this morning, 12.99/lb. For Raleys thick cut bacon, 10.49/lb Farmer Johns. 16.99/lb. New York steak, 25.99/lb. Ribeye, 6.99/lb skinless chicken breasts.

    I've been mulling over buying a Camp Chef oven and checked Cabelas first_$324. Went on line and bought the deluxe version for $199. It seems like anytime I check them out their prices are considerably higher than everyone else.

    I can t speak for the Sitka, but the charmberlan is very warm. For glossing I love it, no matter how cold. The shell is pretty weak though. Any brush or snag will tear it up.

    Could it be the OP is confusing the objective with the eyecup? I can see screwing on an eyecup but not the glass objective.

    New 15x56 Binos

    I have Swaros but only because I needed to burn $500 worth of Cabelas pts. That and 12% Active Junky was a great deal. I also own the Meostar and SLC 10x42's. I think Meopta is right there with the SLC for nearly half the price.
