I have spent my life hunting deer in ohio with a bow. At this point I am wanting to challenge my self more and head west after mule deer and elk. I have purchased most of the gear except a good bolt action. Id like to stick with a easily found caliber ( 308 or 30-06) and dont plan to take crazy...
Sounds like a good time. I have a lot of gear to buy before I head west but I’m hoping for next year. We will see. It’s hard to spend the coin with 4 youngsters running around haha
That’s kinda the point I’m at. I focus 99% of my time getting my kids on deer. Besides that I kill a doe opening weekend then hunt bucks hard in November.
