    Have one of those too but it sounds cooler to say I have a .280Ackley than a 7mag LOL Plus the reloading time is far less and that is huge for as much as I shoot. Both very good guns thats for sure!

    One thing is if you shoot Ackleys make sure the bullet fits the gun as there are different specs of Ackley. This is the case with my Ackley. Its not built for Nosler ammo. But I thing the factory guns are. http://faq.nosler.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=31&id=39&artlang=en

    Looking 4 a new puffy jacket any ideas?

    I run a Monte Bell jacket in my pack as well as a pair of matching pants on the early hunts. I believe they are the Thremawrap series. Works very well. I wear them full time on Late season Alberta big game hunts and I really like it when chasing cats at -25 - -30C.

    20 yrs of guiding to a few hundred animals in NE BC, the Yukon and Alberta and they killed just as much as the Kuiu and Sitka I wear now. LOL Rocking the jeans on a great day 55" moose and a 165" stone ram killed 2hrs apart on a late season October BC hunt.
