    Great advice so far. IME you need to see what your rifle likes. Some rifles shoot most ammo well. Some are real picky. I’m a huge fan of the partition. They shoot well and do the job on elk and moose.

    Make sure your elbow is rotated out when holding your bow. Your inside of your forearm/elbow should be facing the bow not facing towards the sky. Also make sure you’re shooting the correct draw length. Most people are shooting bows that are set to long for them

    Application overlap indecision

    You won’t likely draw Wy general with zero points. It takes 2-3 to draw general elk. I would apply for Colorado too and hopefully you draw Colorado. If it’s a 0/1 point unit you could potentially hunt it a few times and Wy 1-2 times in the next 5-6 years.

    I use the Saunders pak tab. It lasts a long time and gives a very smooth release.
