Dropping to $1100 but willing to condsider reasonable offers.
Paid well over $1500 with tax and they're still in great condition.
Saw some of the recently sold ones that went "too cheap" here were, in fact, scams. I'm happy to have a phone call or send text message or whatever to prove these...
Thanks! Yeah I've thought about doing same for rifles but it gets expensive. I actually think this pair (that's for sale) is possibly the best of the bunch I've looked through (diopter more centered for my eyes). Believe the pair I sent back just had something wrong but I give vortex credit...
Selling a very nice pair or razor uhd 12x50.
They are in excellent condition and come with factory goodies (case with straps, range finder pocket, cleaning cloth, extra neck strap).
This set is my brother's but in my possession to sell and ship. They are excellent optically.
Story about the...
Know this thread is a few months old but posting for others wandering this journey. I also have both and am actually trying to figure out which to keep. Here is my journey so far.
Bought a pair of bx5 12x50 and used then a season. The color and Optics are very good. However, those dang flanged...
The stud replaces your bino's hinge cap and let's you quickly slide your binos in/out of the outdoorsman tripod adapter. It stays on the binos but is basically a small post/stud/stub instead of a larger mount that screws on.
Exactly what I said in one of the other threads... but he dual-wields binos and has a spotter handy too.
Probably carries a telescope in a scabbard slung on his back and uses the sun to melt his game to death... unless it's too foggy out. That's why he hates the fog. Figured it all out.
I'm...
I've seen some issues with their stuff but nothing particularly unusual of any brand and they've always stepped up when needed.
The binos and spotter "fogging" on the same day has me shaking my head though. No amount of coatings will eliminate fogging/condensation on the outside of cold Optics...
I do not. My brother doesn't either.
As for the bx5 eye cups, they have a flange that your brow goes against and another inside that I don't like. But the big problem for me is they need adjusted half way out for appropriate relief. This wouldn't be a bad thing but they screw back in easily. So...
Leupold accidentally sent me a pair of bx4 10x42 and bx5 12x50 (warranty replacement for an old pair). A couple days later they requested I send one pair back. I made the mistake of looking through the bx4 10x42. They were awesome. I also liked the eye cups and locking diopter on them BETTER...
I ended up with a pair of bx5 12x50 and had a set of bx4 10x42 in my hands for a couple days as leupold accidentally sent me 2 pairs after some warranty work. They requested 1 pair back. If it wasn't for the higher price tag and wanting 12s I would've kept those 10x42. I asked them what they...
