    i have the accupoint 1-6 with mil dot / green center dot reticle. the size of the dot, and the level of brightness keep it looking crisp for me, i think the fiber/tritium illum prevents it from starbursting like my batter powered LPVO's will do. generally in the fiber/tritium trijicon...

    Optic change frequency?

    I wasn’t aware of the swaro patent thing and just looked into it. Thought actually be helpful in not switching scopes out… that seems like a compelling event that is worth waiting for.

    I might be doing the same thing, although with different models. Just ordered an Accupoint 1-6 for an AR, to see if I like it more than a dot w/ magnifier.

    I was jumping from budgetish $500 scopes until I jumped up to the atacr 4-20. I loved it but it was just too damn heavy. Recently sold it and picked up some ten miles on sale. I may have jumped down a tier but think I’ve found something I can keep on these guns

    How often do you change your optics on your guns? Forum classifieds make it less of a burden to try new things but interested to see how often others are trying new scopes. Personally seem to change things up every two yesrsish because I read too much on forums

    Rifle for elk hunting

    what part of the country are you in? for western hunting 7mm rem mag provides a nice cartridge for elk and the 3-600 yard shots that you will be taking. i like it for its ballistic properties, and also availability. there are slightly better cartridges but 7rm is a good combo of ballistics...
