    I don't believe the Daystalker turned into the Scout. They were both offered at the same time. The Daystalker was in the Hunting line and the Scout in the Tactical Line. I would have to study a bit but they look basically the same except for all the Molle on the Scout.

    Check this link from the National Center for Home Food Preservation. For quarts you should be canning for 90 minutes, 75 is okay for pints. 50 minutes is way too short. Don't take chances - one case of botulism can kill you.

    Got an email from Kifaru yesterday about the Eastern Ruck. I must say that I'm intrigued. This pack has a lot of things going on that I like. I'll anxiously await a field report. I don't envision using it attached to an external frame and am curious how it carries on the internal.

    I don't believe I ever painted an end of the world scenario. Also, saying that you got your info from Tidwell is hearsay since there is no supporting documentation and even if he did say it that does not make it law.
