Hello Roksliders, long time lurker and this is my first post on here. I am not real good at estimating score so I figured I would share and see what you guys think. Thanks

I probably suck at this too, being i have only seen one or two live mule deer in my life, but I guess 170-180??

Maybe someone more experienced will chime in and we can both learn something

Piss poor photo to try and score from, but he has length and good mass. Based on what I see, I wouldn't hesitate one millisecond. He is clearly a shooter.

If you're looking for a buck with a good score......that buck will disappoint you. However, he's BIG.......a big ol' muley that is a definite trophy. Numbers are just that......numbers.

I would say he is a fully mature buck. Often times many get wrapped up in score rather than taking into account how smart the animal is. I have found myself going after the older more mature bucks simply because they are harder to hunt and to me, they are a trophy simply due to their smarts!
