Well after waiting 6 years, my son finally hung his tag on a buck. I am so happy for him!

Question: This little buck had a broken front tine, and two other broken points. Any ideas how this may have happened? Its not deformed like velvet damage. Just broken off.

Congrats to you and your boy! I'm not sure how it could have broken the tines, a ton of different scenarios that could have happened. Either way a great deer to start off with.

Congrats to the young man.. I'd bet the broken tines are a result from fighting with other bucks... it's actually very common
