Hi all,

For those that have hunted 27 in November, where have you seen deer versus elk? I've heard that deer are a little closer to the airstrips/river while the elk are a few thousand feet up and often miles back. How does it depend on the snow levels? With the snow we receive this year I'm thinking the deer and elk both might be a little lower, though big bucks and bulls can be stubborn in not moving sometimes I know.

Thanks much.

I have hunted there for 8 years, the smaller deer are close to the airstrips, the larger ones usually are up high and farther out.
