Montana mule deer

Heading to Montana for a rifle mule deer hunt first week of November. Have 7 days of hunting planned. What is the typical rut activity at this time of the year. We will b in the Winifred area I believe. I'm going with a few guys who have hunted this area before. But mostly for elk. Really looking forward to the break from work and getting to see the country out there. If I shoot a buck, even better. Also are there white tail in that area as well. Wish me luck. I think I'm gonna need it.

In my experience of hunting Montana many years, the rut activity will crank up towards the end of that week. The 9th has been our favorite day
