My son was able to connect on his 1st mule deer over the weekend. He put on a bunch of miles, passed on some smaller bucks, and had some opportunities on some better bucks but just couldn't connect on them. He had set the goal to kill at least a 3 point and held strong. When this buck fed out he made the call to pull the trigger. He is a 3x2 with eyeguards and some descent mass for a buck this size. He was all smiles and I was too. In his 1st season as a 10 year old he took this buck as well as a solid 5 point bull. Going to be tough to top next year.
