This year I made alot of great memories with some good Friends. Had my buddy Frank from Kifaru out hunting, took a little detour first couple days to help my buddy Matt from MTN OPS get his first whitey. He made a perfect shot at 250 yards!

Next day Frank and I loaded up and headed to Muley country, we didn't have time to hunt that night but got to the knob I wanted to glass from first thing in the morning, there was 4 solid bucks right where we wanted to glass but I couldn't get my gun on them before they made it in the timber, a little while later we found them across the canyon just as they where getting ready to cross the ridge, speed of the Sig 2400 is what made this happen, 882 yards dial 16.5 moa, I didn't have time to get my rear bag out so I grabbed my Bino's for a rear support and made a perfect shot on my best buck to date!

Following evening we found another solid buck for Frank, it was too late to make a stalk that evening. he was 2700 yards away and the ridge between us was 2200 yards away so we knew if we were there at daylight he'd be well within range, well after a 2 hour hike in the dark we hit the ridge right at day light, we werent even on the ridge for 5 min before I glassed the Buck up down below us, Frank grabbed the rifle and I ranged him at 350 and told him to dial, buck seen us and was working his way towards the timber I kept giving Frank the corrections the Sig 2400 was telling me and he hesitated a second to long at 420 yards

On the way home my muzzlelaoder cow tag opened and I threw the muzzlelaoder in the truck just incase we tagged out early. Well first morning we watched a group of elk go into the timber, snuck in there and shot this cow within 30 yards felt great to fill the freezer and always fun pulling out the muzzle loader

On day 10 our last day to hunt I had Jason take me part as high as he could, I climbed over the mountain so I could hunt a canyon back down towards the bottom. Spotted this buck first thing in the morning and at first decided I wanted something bigger, well he went to crest the ridge and I noticed he was shot in the leg. Had some fresh snow so got on his tracks and followed him, 3 canyons later I found him bedded and made a great shot on him. Deboned him and packed him the 3000 feet down and just over 2.5 miles back to the bottom

Haha I heard that one. Made a mental note not to piss by someone elses truck unless I see them do it beforehand.
