Shedding late?

Saw a couple mulies yesterday still packing both sides, one was a big 5×5.

The whitetails by me have just started dropping.

Saw 5 buck all but two had dropped both sides, one was hanging on to one side.

Any ideas on the SE New Mexico desert units? I would assume most everything should be bald by March 24.

Saw three bucks today in N. Colorado. All three still packing both sides. While I was trying to get a better vantage point, I about stepped on a shed. Damn! Small 4 by 4. Saw another one as well. Just out in the open on a common hiking trail. Hope they will be there in May!

Looked over quite a few bucks lately and from my count 57% of the ones I could tell were bucks had shed at least one side. Stil seeing a lot of bucks that have both sides. 3 of the 4 biggest bucks I know of were still holding both sides and the largest of the bunch has either shed or I did not see him. Seems a lot of the boys got a haircut in the past week or so and I would imagine the next week will be the same with a lot of them dropping.

I also have not picked one up this year as most of the deer I look over are on private land.
