Help with Wyoming area 17 mule deer hunt

This will be my first trip out west in 18 and I’m looking at mule deer in area 17, I got onX maps, and the blm maps for the area. Other than that I’m going in blind, green, and alone. Plan to truck camp on blm land. Any suggestions on areas to go, needed gear that an east coast hunter wouldn’t think of? Or general suggestions would be much appreciated.

Tripod for binoculars. Unless you’re really counting inches don’t worry too much about a spotter. You don’t have to go in miles; even a little topography blocking an area from view when on the road can hold deer. Glass glass glass.
