Will Colorado take your preference points with a second choice draw? I've never applied for a second choice unit. Our elk hunts have always been first choice. I'm looking to apply to unit 66 for deer,and would consider a plan "B". Just curious about the preference points.

How do you know if you can draw as a second choice? Not sure how to tell a second choice unit.

Go look at the stats for units that issued tags as second choice.
