What are everyone's thoughts on Eastern and SE Montana mule deer this fall? I've been out there already, saw good numbers of deer, not the ridiculous numbers we've been seeing in recent years, but still good. A fair number of the deer were obvious yearlings, so some fawns survived as well. I'll definitely be hunting there in the fall, but am curious to see the pop. estimates later in the year. Maybe given the winter there will be fewer hunters, but who knows.

I wish ND would hold off on bringing back MD doe tags for a few years. Not that many people use them here anyways but still.
