Nevada 101-109 Early Archery

I drew an archery tag. I'll be hunting the Ruby Mountains. I already know where I plan to hike into and hunt. I have a few questions about access from the west side. I live in MN so a scouting trip isn't much of an option. If anyone has any "local knowledge" they'd be willing to share, it would be much appreciated.

How is the access southeast of Elko along the west side of the Ruby's? I see there are a few roads that lead up to the NF and Wilderness boundaries, but are they open or have land owners shut down most of the access?

Feel free to pm me if you'd like. I've hunted the rubies 4-5 times. If you have a place picked out to hunt i'd focus on access there. It's difficult to answer your question. Yes there are alot of access issues there but there are also roads in that area that access national forest. I would look at the public/ private land maps such as onyx to see if the specific canyon you are looking at is accessible. Good luck.
