My Accura V2 is a tack driver with 110 grains of Blackhorn 209, 250 gr Barnes Spitfire TMZ, and federal 209a primers. It has been 100% reliable and does a number on whitetails.

I would recommend the CVA Blackhorn specific breech plug.

Don’t have field experience with it yet, but just bought one as well with scope. Getting it set up w/ peep sight for Colorado.

Switched to the Blackhorn breech plug and have some Thor test bullets to try out.

We get the best results out of ours with 110 grains of Blackhorn 209 and 290 gr Barnes Spitfire TMZ and CCI 209 Primers (Tried pellets and other powders/bullet combos and had less than stellar results)

Note that these are 110 grains by VOLUME of BH209. By weight that would be 77 grains since you multiple the volume charge by .7 to get the actual weight. I prefer to weigh but I'm a bit OCD about that.

My cva Mtn Rifle likes 90grs Blackhorn, 250gr Hornady xtp bullets with Harvester Black crushed rib sabots. Damn near 5 holes touching at 100 yards.
