Looking at picking up a V-Force vest to step up my game for the fall, I'm doing cardio 3x a week but there's no displacement for that with a weighted pack but given the temps and snow I'll have tot tackle that on a step climber.

Any thoughts or opinions on the vest are appreciated.

It's better than nothing, but unless you're wearing body armor a lot I think wearing a pack is a better idea. A vest is carried much differently on your body than a pack so I'm not sure using it for training is productive. Just my opinion though.

I have a vest and never use it. I put sandbags in my pack and go on the stair machine, treadmill or hiking. Nothing trains you for a pack, like a pack. Also I don't like the way the weight vest disperses the weight. It on my chest and shoulders and lower back. The pack puts the weight to the hips and I can train better

My weighted vest get thrown in my pack then I go hike the hills. I wouldn't waste the money in less you are going to use the weighted vest for push-ups, air squats or some type of body weight exercise.
