I've been looking at upgrading my rangefinder and I saw the new 1400 bdx and it seems like a lot of rangefinder for $250. I was just curious if anyone has tested the bdx or knows how it compares to the kilo 1250? Thanks

I’d just look for a used Kilo 2000 for the same $ personally. It seems the 1400 adds a bunch of gimmicky features that aren’t really beneficial within its 800 yard range. JMHO though, it might be great.

It adds a lite version of Applied Ballistics into the rangefinder and a Bluetooth module that lets it communicate with a scope. I believe it gets a slight bump in ranging performance as well.

For what it's worth, I didn't like the low light performance of the 1250 I tested the other day and found I had issues seeing the display in low light. That said, it was in a Scheels and all ranges I tested were under 70yds, so take that with a grain of salt. I also had trouble holding it such that eye relief wasn't an issue.
