Spotter Question

What Spotter do you recommend in the $800 range for spotting long range shooting? I want to be able to spot dirt splash and hits on steel swingers at up to 2000 yards. I will normally be shooting in the 500 yard range but have the occasional ability to stretch out a little.

This will be used for some hunting in the future. I am looking for a bear or elk hunt but that is later on. For now I want to have someone spot for my long range shooting.

Any thoughts?

There is a Kowa 664 with the 20-60x eyepiece on ebay right now for under 800. It is excellent glass and very packable scope

Just animals and I'm usually solo so have never spotted shots.

Well, you will first have to consider whether your spotting tripod will fit in with any spotting scope? If no,then I will suggest you try and look into best tripod for spotting scope. If yes, then try Vortex 20-60x85 razor hd. It's a great choice. or you can also try Celestron 52252. But I will always choose what I know best -Vortex
