Redfield Raider 650A Rangefinder

Just a quick heads up on this rangefinder, I picked it up from Bob Wards for $95.

I carry Swaro EL Ranges most of the year but their minimum distance is 33 yards or so I believe. I wanted a cheapo rangefinder for archery season, swung by Bob Wards in Bozeman and they had it on sale for $95.

The unit itself feels a bit plasticky and cheap in comparison to some of the other rangefinders I've handled but for my purposes that doesn't bother me at all. It ranges pretty quick, faster than my brothers Vortex, probably faster than my Swaro's. Uncluttered display, optics are nothing to write home about. I haven't tested it to see how far it will range and probably won't.

Not sure if they're blowing them out or what.

I had the older 600 model and loved it. I sold it to upgrade to something with a red display and HCD/TBR. I still cannot adjust to how slow my ranger 1500 is when comparing it to the old redfield.
