Vangaurd ed2 65mm or Vortex razor 50mm

Main use would be Idaho/Colorado Elk, trinity alps and Tahoe area deer. Just curious on other experience and opinions. I'm teetering on making the jump to 65mm razor hd but to me that's another Elk tag or gas $$$ for a Rosey hunt in Wa coast.

I'd go with the Vanguard out of those two, but look at the Kowa TSN-501 or TSN-601 before you pull the trigger on either.

I'd go Vanguard as well, you'll appreciate the extra zoom and light gathering at first/last light.

I hunt up in the Tahoe area and use the Vanguard 65mm. You will need the extra zoom and the Vanguard works well
