Please Help with outdoormans adapter plate

Do I need to buy the outdoormans adaptor plate for the bino tripod adaptor or can I use my vanguard QS-36 quick release plate? Thank you

If my understanding is correct, the bino adapter will screw you your vanguard plate. You do not have to purchase the outdoorsman adapter plate.

Can be used with other brands of tripods by adding their style of 1/4x20 tripod plates

The bino adapter has a 1/4 20 female thread at its base. IF the vanguard has a 1/4 20 male stud (which is standard on most adapter plates) you are good to go. THE beauty of the outdoorsmans bino adapter is there is no adapter plate needed if using any of the three outdoorsmans tripod heads they sell. Hopen this answers your question.
