I've been really wanting to see a review from one of our writers. I almost bought one last week but wanted to see some real world feedback first so I ended up settling on buying an ATS 80 hd instead.

Having used the spot side by side with my 85mm Ziess (likely should be comparing to a Vortex Razor 50 and a Swaro 65mm rather than a 4.5 spotter but its all I have ) looking at mountain goats, grizzlies, moose, caribou, and black bears in the last month I have had it its been impressive. Trade offs for sure, but one more hunt here in 2 weeks and then I will crack down and dust off the article generating keyboard and hammer out a few that have been hanging over my head. But will put this Kowa review first in the hopper

The spotter goes everywhere with me. There is a lot of big country and complicated tine based seasons where I live. A spotter can save me a few miles on my boots.
