New Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18

It looks like Vortex will be coming out with a new scope for 2018, the Strike Eagle 3-18x44mm. Does anyone have experience with the Vortex and/or specifically the two Strike Eagle scopes they presently have out? I think the two newer ones have exposed turrets (there's also going to be a 5 to 20 power or something). I'm less concerned about the absolute clarity of their scopes. I'm more wondering if they track well through windage and elevation adjustments, if they are durable, does Vortex back their products well, etc.

I have 5-6 pieces of vortex gear. Have always found them helpful and responsive. My 3 scopes all track very well, including a cheaper cross fire. Only issue I have ever had was with a range finder. I contacted them. They said send it in and they would expedite the return because it was the middle of hunting season. In less than a week they sent me a new rangefinder. There are better optics out there (often at higher prices) but they are top of the line on service IMO.
