GPO clones....or vice versa. WTH?

this GECO company does not cater to USA but looks exactly the same as the GPO passion line (so does the scopes i believe). i understand most of these optics are made in the same factories in china and japan but i would expect a little different look.

Its just OEM import stuff, if you looked at most glass out there in the sub 1k market, there are a bunch of kissing cousins.
