Leupold VX-3i cds

Been looking at a few rifle scopes I've narrowed it down to a couple but the leupold vx 3i is the one I'm favoring I really like the custom dial system it offers, I will be using it on my 300 win mag to shoot up to 600 yards for hunting. Does anyone have insight on this scope.? Also its power comes in 3.5-10 or 4.5-14 what power would be adequate for shooting up to 600 yards thanks.

I've had 2 of the vx3i 3.5-10 and one 4.4-14. The 3.5-10 was the better scope to me. Either would be fine to 600 yards though. Not to give you more headache but Have you looked at the vx5hd 3-15x44? Defiantly my favorite scope by far, well worth it. They can be found for $750 ish online

I talked to a lot of guys on here and read on shooting forums about the CDS system on a VX-3. There were enough comments about tracking issues to push me away from it. I went to a BDC reticle.

I haven't looked Into the vx5 but I will sounds good.

I've got a few VX3i in 3.5-10x40 and 4.5-14x40. I much prefer the 4.5-14 over the 3.5-10.
